Key generator file and
registration code.
Protect your software
from hackers
This program is for programmers who want to protect their
software against hackers. It is done by sending an encrypted ".key" file to your
customers via an email attachment. (Outlook Express - Netscape)
Information from your customers can come from your personal
server or from a secure registration site like RegSoft - e.commerce solutions.
- Ca-Visual
Objects version 2.8 SP1 and compatible with Ca-Visual Objects versions 26-27.
Note: This program can only be used by programmers of CA-Visual
Objects version 2.6 - 2.7b- 2.8 SP1 ( Optional ClassMate library)
It will generate a key file that can be use into your own programs to give to your
customers a way to register your software. RegKeyFile.DLL and prototypes files are
provided with this package to be included into your software you want to sell.
This package include also a sample EXE (written in CA-Visual Objects) named cm-Demo.EXE
and the source file CM Demo - RDD Data Browser.AEF to show how to implement the functions.
This sample is made with the ClassMate library but the source can be easily converted to
CAVO.
Any attempt to temper with the generated key file will fail. It will generate a DEMO
(shareware) key file. This key file is completely encrypted and impossible to
decrypt.
This shareware program is a generator of registration key files. It has a
limitation of a trial period of 30 days.
It is written in CA Visual Objects 2.8 SP1 code and with
the ClassMate 2.09 library.
Important:
This program works on Win98 - ME - NT - 2000 - XP and Vista
( On Vista it is UAC
,User Account Control awared ). It also requires Administrator rights.
Current version is 2.8.4.0 -
2008-04-03
Why this program ?
I think this is very low cost program for small enterprise. No fancy things,
like a internal transaction server. You register your program to a third party
registration network ( like RegSoft
), pay a small fee to them, and you are free of pain and headaches of maintaining a
transaction server. When you receive a purchase from your third party registration
network, you enter the coordinates of your client, generate a key file and send it to your
customer. That takes less than 2 minutes, nothing can beat the cost of a
secretary for 2 minutes of her time.
| Standard Features (Version 2.8.4.0) 2008-04-03 |

| Compression, encryption and checksum |

with UPX-3.00, this save a lot of time of program loading over a network. The production
Exe can be encrypted with hidden information to prevent software tampering. Also you can
secure your Exe with the 128 bits MD5 algorithm to prevent any byte change of your Exe. |
